This would be the dress. It was given to me to experiment with. It was an XXL and I made it a size 10. I took the entire top apart. I preserved the shape (I just cut off a bit here and there) and decided to leave the skirt full and gather it a bit rather than cut it down. I think it needs a belt or sash. Or I will have to go back in and add some elastic to stabilize the waist.
