Project Linus

by @ Thursday, February 26th, 2009. Filed under quilt

For the last 3 years I’ve said that I was going to make a blanket for Project Linus.  This year I finally got around to it and I made 2.  I put the tops together and I conned my mom into finishing them. The blocks were pre-made (flying geese and pinwheels).  I added in boarders and extra blocks so they would be a good size for a small child.

Spinsta Spinster

Contemporary use of the word conjures up a mental image of an independent a childless, stylish frumpy, middle-aged woman who is a jet-setting, trendsetter somewhat depressed, and is an inspiration to other women longing to be like other "normal" women.
