Lil Miss Sunshine (aka Savannahred) posted this on her FB wall the other day and it went viral in minutes. It definitely made an impression on me as I switch gears job-wise. I am focusing on items 2 and 6 right now. 1,4,5 and 9 are a daily habit.
2. Don’t wait until you know who you are to make things. So true. The things we make are a reflection of ourselves. You don’t make things, you don’t know who you are.
6. Do good work and put it where people can see it. Many of my things are in my closet for me to wear. Other things I have mended for a store and not left a mark that I was there. Then there are the things I have made or mended for friends (they know that I was there, but what happens when they pass it on?)“ My solution… new job.
